Repairs
How do I request a repair?
Fill out the repair form and describe your issue. You’ll receive a quote within 2–3 working days.
Is there a fee for getting a quote?
Yes - a €40 inspection fee covers testing and diagnosis. It’s credited toward your repair if you go ahead.
How long does a repair take?
Usually 1–2 weeks after your camera arrives. We’ll contact you if parts or delays affect timing.
Do you offer a repair warranty?
Yes - 3 months on the specific work carried out. Damage from misuse, moisture, or wear isn’t covered.
What if parts aren’t available?
If original parts are no longer produced, we’ll discuss suitable alternatives before continuing.
How should I send my camera?
Remove tapes and accessories, and pack securely with padding. Tracked and insured shipping is strongly recommended.
What if I don’t collect my camera?
After 6 weeks of notification, storage fees may apply. After 8 weeks, uncollected items may be sold or recycled.
How do I draw Frames?
To add a video to your site, click the “Insert” button and navigate to the “Media” section. Then, drag and drop a video component onto the Canvas.
Shop & Products
Are all items new?
No - all products are pre-owned or refurbished. Each is inspected and described honestly.
What’s included with my purchase?
Each listing shows exactly what’s included (e.g., camera body, battery, charger). Packaging may vary.
What kind of warranty is included?
Consumers receive a 12-month statutory warranty covering defects present at delivery. Business customers are excluded as permitted by law.
What’s your return policy?
Consumers can return items within 14 days of delivery. Buyer covers return shipping; refunds are issued after inspection.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes - we ship worldwide. International buyers are responsible for customs fees and import taxes.
How long does delivery take?
Orders ship within 1–3 working days. Delivery time depends on courier and destination.
What payment methods do you accept?
Currently PayPal, bank transfer, and local pickup as well as card payments via Stripe.
Are your prices final or plus VAT?
Prices are final. Under §19 UStG, no VAT is charged or displayed on invoices.
What happens if my parcel is damaged?
All shipments are insured. Contact us immediately with photos so we can file a claim.
Privacy & Data
What personal data do you collect?
Only what’s necessary to process repairs or sales — name, contact info, and order details.
How long do you store my data?
For the legally required period (typically 6–10 years for accounting purposes).
Do you share data with others?
Only with trusted partners like shipping or payment providers. We never sell your information.
Can I request my data be deleted?
Yes - contact us anytime at the.vx.doc@gmail.com or contact form to access, correct, or delete your data.
Which terms apply?
All sales and repairs follow German law. The German version of our terms is legally binding.
Where is VX Doc based?
Berlin, Germany. The place of jurisdiction for business customers is Berlin.
Do I receive an invoice?
Yes - every sale or repair includes a legally valid invoice.
What’s your policy for business buyers?
Business customers (§14 BGB) are excluded from certain consumer rights like returns and warranties.
