The HVR-DR60 records HDV, DVCAM, and DV formats directly to its internal 60GB drive, offering up to 4.5 hours of continuous HDV recording or 6 hours in DV.
It captures footage directly to digital files, giving you tapeless recording, instant transfer, and a faster post-production workflow — ideal for documentary, ENG, skate filmmaking, and classic HDV production. This unit is fully tested, works flawlessly in all modes, and is in very good cosmetic condition with only light signs of normal use. Comes with a Sony NP-F battery and a 6-pin to 4-pin FireWire cable for direct connection to compatible cameras.
Footage transfers instantly to your computer via USB or FireWire, eliminating tape capture time and reducing wear on your camera’s tape mechanism.
The recorder mounts to the side of Sony HDV camcorders or can be used standalone via FireWire.
A bright LCD shows recording mode, remaining time, battery info, and status indicators for absolute reliability in the field.
